MISSION STATEMENT

The Chapel on Eagles Bluff will serve as a place for individuals to express beliefs, learn more about faith in groups with others, search within themselves, or to have a special place to go when they seek reflection. The Chapel will afford existing neighborhood Bible Study Groups a meeting place of tranquility and purpose.   It will also be available for other groups who live outside or visit the Community regularly. We envision it being available to Eagle’s Bluff Country Club event planning should members or patrons desire The Chapel for a wedding ceremony. It will not be a venue for receptions and similar activities as those are better hosted at the Club. 

We foresee inviting occasional speakers to offer services for a non-denominational audience of interested residents, club members, and regular visitors to Eagle’s Bluff. We expect The Chapel to be available as a venue for a memorial service or funeral if the attendance could be accommodated.  We do not foresee, any time soon, regular Sunday services, as it is not the intent for The Chapel to compete with or be an alternative to one’s regular church. We hope our residents, friends, and other visitors will see this as a further enhancement to the values associated with living in Eagle’s Bluff.
